Lol ignore the fugly face and YEY SNOW! Not getting any here in Manila, so. AGAIN, MERRY CHRISTMAS YOU GUYS! WEE! Just had Noche Buena with mi familia from my mother’s side. In a few hours, the Kagaoan clan is having our annual Christmas lunch, then having Christmas dinner with more people! ‘Tis really the season to be jolly!!!

ON THE SIDE NOTE:

Some of you may have heard about the recent calamity that hit Cagayan de Oro in the past week. I’ve been tweeting about it (and mentioned too about how amaaaaazing their hamons are btw) and things aren’t getting better. If you wanna know how to lend a helping hand, CLICK HERE. My fam and I donated relief goods already and it would be awesome if YOU, yes YOU, could also give what you can. Whatever that may be – from clothes, food, to even our prayers, that would be amazing. Thank you in advance! ALSO!!! I would like to ask for your prayers for the soul of my guidance counselor in 5th grade and a mother of a Junior in my school, Ms. Flor Morales. She passed away yesterday and it came as a shocker to us all. Please please please pray for her. Thank you!!!

The Only Coke I Do Is Diet

…and regular 🙂 Anyway, last July 17, 2011, Demi Lovato and friends (namely Hanna Beth) went out to the movies wearing anti-drug shirts which reads, “The only coke I do is diet.” Check out the site here 🙂

Demetria is sooo cute with a cause 🙂 I love how she’s active in these kinds of things. First was anti-bullying, then anti-depression, then now, anti-drugs! Way to go girl! x

03/11/11 – Tragedy Hits Japan :(

It’s kind of sad that my comeback post involves a tragic event which hit Japan yesterday, March 11, 2011. Here’s a quick recap of events:

An 8.9 magnitude earthquake struck north-east Japan on Friday, killing at least 300 people – although that figure is widely expected to rise. As a huge relief mission gets under way, states of emergency have been declared at two nuclear plants. Up to 300 bodies were recovered from the port city of Sendai, in Miyagi prefecture, and a third of Kesennuma, a city in the same region, is said to be under water.

Yesterday afternoon, my busmate told me that she received a text that an earthquake shook Japan that afternoon. At first, I couldn’t believe it. I mean, I just watched in the news last Wednesday that they experienced an earthquake there and I couldn’t imagine what it could be like for the Japanese to experience a terrible earthquake twice in the same week. I felt so horrible when I found out that it was a 8.9 magnitude earthquake. I wished my eyes deceived me, but no. So I arrived home, opened the internet and Google sent out an alert that there will be tsunamis in different areas including New Zealand, Hawaii, Indonesia, the Philippines, etc. Within just a few hours yesterday, the first wave hit the Philippines’ area of responsibility… and then the second and third wave hit (IDK if there were more)

On the other side of the world, Lady Gaga showers us with her awesomeness: an opportunity for us, her little monsters, to give back. It may be simple, but it’s for a great cause 🙂

Let’s all continue praying for Japan and the rest of the world 🙂 Take care everyone! x
