Celeb Health Tips

BONUS:

What They Wear

Anyway, straight to the point πŸ™‚ Β – I wanna get back into shape. Starting tomorrow, I’ll be eating heavy breakfast, fruits for lunch, and light dinner. My buddies and I are not only trying to save money but we also wanna be fit. There’s nothing wrong with that right? Tomorrow I’ll be starting with my C.A.T (Citizen’s Army Training) for women. Wish me luck! Anyway, here are some health tips from celebrities and the source is non other than trusty, US Weekly:

-Sprinting not only burns huge amounts of calories, it also keeps your metabolism on overdrive for days!

– Switch the chips for vegetable sticks — celery, carrots, bell peppers and tomatoes!

– Cashews are lower in fat than most nuts and are rich in copper, magnesium, zinc, iron and biotin

– Avocados are the perfect food for pregnant women. The folate in one avocado is almost 30 percent of the recommended daily intake for the prevention of life-threatening birth defects of the brain and spine

– Tomatoes contain lycopene, a strong antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals and is known to prevent cancer. Tomatoes also contain large amounts of Vitamins C and A.

– Pecans are an excellent source of vitamins and minerals, including Vitamins A, B and E, folic acid, calcium, magnesium and zinc

– Studies suggest that meditating for 20 minutes twice a day can help lower high blood pressure

– Studies show pineapples reduce inflammation of the body, which makes it easier for the immune system to fight heart disease, and diabetes

– Quinoa is a “complete protein,” meaning it contains all the essential amino acids the body needs — similar to milk, but without fat or cholesterol

– A low-fat diet containing avocados has been shown to lower cholesterol levels of the dangerous LDL and increase the levels of healthy HDL

– When we stretch, we not only increase our range of motion, but we also reduce stress, improve circulation, balance and coordination, reduce muscular tension and increase energy levels

– Eating a handful of berries a day will make you look younger, as they’ve been found to boost antioxidant activity, which keeps free radicals from aging the body too quickly

“Who Says” by Selena Gomez + BONUS POST ABOUT HER BF

Okay, I really thought I’ve posted this before. OMG this is so embarrassing. I feel frustrated now. Hmm.

Here’s the official music video of “Who Says” by Selena Gomez. Personally, I’m not a big fan of her singing voice but I think she’s really cute πŸ™‚ So, here it is and enjoy!

So, I’m a football fan and I still remember the days when I was kicking that muddy ball (and yeah, I messed up sometimes. HAHA) Now, I came across this soccer post about a certain celebrity… but I’m not his biggest fan.

TADA! It’s Justin Bieber. The Biebs (or whatever)Β is in the country for the latest leg of his world tour and is set to play at the Palacio de Deportes in Madrid on Tuesday, before performing at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on Thursday. Now, I kind of care about this post because a.) it’s set in Spain and b.) it’s related to soccer. So Bieber people (I dunno what you call yourselves. Sorry :D) hope you enjoy this post!

Schiavone VS Kuznetsova: Longest Match in Women’s Tennis History!

Francesca Schiavone

…And I witnessed it πŸ™‚ So my daddy, abuelo, cousin (who wasn’t there when we watched though) and I are huge sports fans and this afternoon, daddy, abuelo and I watched a women’s tennis match featuring Francesca Schianove vs Svetlana Kuznetsova (who seriously looks a lot likeΒ LΓΊcia Moniz) We began watching when they were already in the third set of the match and whoever wins the third one wins the whole thing. After more an hour of watching, their scores were 15-14: 40-40, with Schianove leading. She was about to make the winning shot… WHEN MY LITTLE SISTER STARTED PLAYING WITH THE REMOTE AND TURNED THE TV OFF. OHMYGAWD. THE LOOKS ON OUR FACES.

Anyway back to sports,

FRANCESCA Schiavone’s dogged run through the Australian Open continued last night with a 6-4 1-6 16-14 win over Svetlana Kuznetsova in what was the longest women’s grand slam match of all-time.
