I ♥ The Body Shop

With this crazy and bipolar weather, it’s very important to make sure that our skin will remain healthy and rejuvenated. Being a girl in her teenage years with annoying breakout sessions during that time of the month + insane heat, I really need to have good facial care. When it comes to it, I trust none other than the Tea Tree products of The Body Shop! Here are some of the recent items I got from their collection:

Hairography

MY HAIR IS A MESS. PLUS, IT’S RAINING TODAY SO THIS JUST SUCKS. THANK GOD I DON’T HAVE TO BE CONSCIOUS WITH WHAT MY HAIR LOOKS LIKE WHEN I DANCE. I SHOULD JUST ALWAYS DANCE -____-

I would love to change my hairdo someday. But for now, I’ll just have to deal with this since it is forbidden to experiment with my hair because a.) my parents would kill me and b.) my school will kill me. I want neither, so. My hair can get really curly and sometimes, it’s wavy when I dry it in front of an electric fan. But anyway, this isn’t story-telling time about my hair. It’s time to take a look at these celebs hair transformation!

Your High School Prom

PROM. Where do I even begin to describe prom? Actually, I can’t. Personally, I wasn’t looking forward to my Junior prom because I wasn’t looking forward to a night of being alone with a guy because that has never happened to me before. I worked so hard for my prom but I didn’t want to attend it. I was forced to go. I despised the thought of it. But then again, we shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover. I thought that prom was overrated and superficial because a bunch of girls get to dress up like crazy for one night… but I learned that it is not at all like that. Technically, you won’t be alone with your date/dance only with your date/talk only to your date because you actually have your friends with you there. And if you go to an all girls school like me, it’s more awkward for the guy than it is for you, therefore, you can take the lead. You could be the one to help him out and reach out. That’s how I learned to be comfortable with guys 🙂 I ended up enjoying that one night where I did get to feel pretty. I danced (which I love doing) and ate delicious food from a buffet! (Oh how I love buffets) Anyway, our prom’s theme was: CIRQUE

And the whole place looked so awesome. So, prom season is up again and take advantage of it. TBH, I actually want to go to prom again 🙂 Enjoy it and love every moment of it because for some, it only happens once.

Let me share with you my prom look:

Again, most importantly, have fun!

Spring’s Top 5 Accessory & Nail Art Trends

“Nail art seems intimidating, but it’s all about practice,”

-manicurist Bernadette Thompson

You may also try using sporty looks! Use sport bag totes, like bowling bags!

Go with abstract images and different ones on each finger, so people can’t see any mistakes you make! Accessorize also with metallic clutches and out of this world bracelets!

GO WILD! Now with your nails, when painting on spots or stripes, make sure the base coat is totally dry. Otherwise, you’ll end up with streaks!

Florals are easy because it’s a simple dot-on technique. If you make a mistake, though, have fun with it! Stick on a little rhinestone and no one will know.

Try accessorizing with spots and stripes!

“Pop culture icons like Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Beyoncé have really pushed the nail trend forward, hot nails are here to stay.”
