Last Dec. 7-9, 2012, my family and I went to Pampanga for some rest and recreation. We stayed in Tune Hotel in Angeles City which is just right for travelers like us! We planned on exploring and trying anything Kapampangan or just simply anything spontaneous. I came from school and went to SM the Block with two of my good friends, Ayra and Chin. I went shopping in Cotton On, Aldo, and got waxed in Pink Parlor. My family picked me up there and we drove to our destination. After checking in, we ate dinner at a Mongolian restaurant wherein everyone tried the Mongolian meal while I opted for ribs and mashed potato (sawaaaaaap!!!) I had a whole room to myself while my parents and little sister were in another room. That weekend was also extra special because we were joined my my aunt from the states and her two co-workers!
The next day, we went to SM Clark for breakfast then drove to Clear Water Resort. They have all sorts of activities such as kayaking, fishing, obstacle courses, swimming, and a whole lot more! It was so much fun but I got a bit of a sunburn and color. But all is good 🙂 We had dinner in SM Clark again and rested up for our last but long day ahead!
On our last day, we went to Puning Hot Springs and Restaurant which is one of the up and coming attractions in the Philippines! It’s located in Sapang Bato and I heard that Apl.De.Ap goes there a lot. It is a mixture of thrill and calmness because of the activities that they provide. In the first station, they have the receiving area where the people come and go using a 4×4 atv. In the second station, they have this sand bath and massage area. In the last but definitely not the least station is the hot and cold springs! The water there comes naturally from the area of Mt. Pinatubo. The whole experience, the views, and the people (we met a lot of Aetas!!! :)) were amazing. Pampanga, you are amazing. Can’t wait for my next adventure/chill pill trip!
